What is PLA ?
PLA is extracted from corn, cassava and other crops by microbial fermentation.And then, refining, dehydration oligomerization, high temperature depolymerization, polymerization.
PLA have excellent biodegradability. After abandonment, it can be degraded by microorganisms in the soil within one year, and then, it becomes CO2 and water. Most importantly, it is not pollution to the environment. PLA belong to aliphatic polyester, it has the basic characteristics of universal polymer materials and good machining property, low shrinkage rate. It is widely used for making packaging material, disposable dishware, home appliance shell, 3D consumables etc.
